On Duty

I should wait with this for time around Christmas, but... Buck it.

So, Heart's Warming is coming, but even then, the Royal Guard have it's duty to fullfil. Even during this beautiful time soldiers are up on duty, serving Equestria and Princesses.
Major Fearbane (name, given by his own soldiers, after many missions) is a lone pegasus, veteran. When his dad - great soldier has died on mission, and not long after him his mother did, cuz of all this suffer, he rejected any kind of private contacts. Even, when he had girlfriend, he just cut down contact with her in case of "protecting her from possible suffer". They met only onca after this, when she was already a mother. He did not show a simple emotion. He was cold - cold by choice and hardiness, worked out from his family's tragedy.
He doesn't smile, except of a good joke. He never gives a good word, besides "good job" or "well done" to his soldiers - and those are emotionless too.
He separated himself from ponies, because he loves them. He lives for duty, he is on duty for life because it is his only joy and warmth. Brutal warmth.
After one mission he got hurt into his right wing - he cannot fly anymore. He is chained to the ground. But it matters little for him. Because he is on duty as he swore "till his last breathe".

Here we see him, patroling Canterlot at winter. We also see my second OC, Blue Symphony. She is rich and generous. She wanted to give some holiday warmth to some soldier in city, because she knows, that they have no holidays.
That was only toss of fortune, that she met major Fearbane.

What is next? Even I don't know.... But maybe someday you'll see soething about it.
